  • Unit One

    • Nature and Objective of Physics, Instruction and Role of Teachers in instruction File

      The course is the methodology of teaching, which gives you the basic knowledge needed to ensure proper dissemination of knowledge to your students as a professional physics teacher. Study unit 1 introduces you to the nature and objectives of Physics as your teaching subject. It is essential to know what physics nature is about in order to be able to approach your teaching with understanding. Other points to be considered in this unit are, the objectives of teaching physics, the impact and position of physics in society, and Bloom’s Taxonomy of Learning.

  • Unit Two

    • Teaching and Learning of Physics File

      At the end of the unit you should be able to:

      1.      Explain how the psychological theories of learning are applied to learning and teaching

      2.      Describe the sequence of learning and the criteria for selecting strategies for learning

      3.      Describe the different teaching methods and explain how each method can be used to enhance effective teaching and learning.

      4.      Analyze the different aspects of classroom organization.
